Elderberry Whiskey Sour
Our elderberry syrup add a light fruit flavor to a tried and true cocktail. Optional egg whites give it a beautiful froth.

Ingredients
  • 2 ounces Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
  • 0.75 ounces lemon juice
  • 0.75 ounces Elderberry Syrup [BUY NOW]
  • 5 shakes Golden Bear Big Sur Citrus Bitters
  • 1 farm fresh egg white (optional)
  • ice

Instructions
If using egg white:
  1. Dry shake all ingredients, except for the Bitters, in a cocktail shaker (make sure the shaker is firmly sealed before shaking) for 10 seconds. Then, open shaker and add
  2. Shake again for 10 seconds and then strain, using a fine mesh sieve, into a glass with one ice cube.
  3. Garnish with a lemon peel and 5 dashes of Bitters.
If making without the egg white:
  1. Shake all ingredients, except for the Bitters, in a cocktail shaker, with ice.
  2. Strain into a glass with one ice cube.
  3. Garnish with a lemon peel and 5 dashes of Bitters.
