Our elderberry syrup add a light fruit flavor to a tried and true cocktail. Optional egg whites give it a beautiful froth.
Ingredients

2 ounces Bourbon or Rye Whiskey

0.75 ounces lemon juice
-
0.75 ounces Elderberry Syrup

5 shakes Golden Bear Big Sur Citrus Bitters

1 farm fresh egg white (optional)

ice
Directions
If using egg white:
Dry shake all ingredients, except for the Bitters, in a cocktail shaker (make sure the shaker is firmly sealed before shaking) for 10 seconds. Then, open shaker and add the egg white.
Shake again for 10 seconds and then strain, using a fine mesh sieve, into a glass with one ice cube.
Garnish with a lemon peel and 5 dashes of Bitters.
If making without the egg white:
Shake all ingredients, except for the Bitters, in a cocktail shaker, with ice.
Strain into a glass with one ice cube.
Garnish with a lemon peel and 5 dashes of Bitters.
