Elderberries have a sweet and tart flavor, similar to a blueberry or cranberry and pair perfectly with tart vinegar in our elderberry vinaigrette salad dressing.

Ingredients

1/8 cup Elderberry Syrup

1/8 cup Quail & Olive's Blood Orange Olive Oil

2 tablespoons Quail & Olive's Champagne Mimosa Vinegar

4 cups baby spinach or spring mix lettuce

1/2 cups candied pecans

1/4 cups dried cranberries or fresh pomegranate seeds

1/4 cups crumbled goat cheese

1/4 cups cup slide Fuyu persimmons or small orange wedges

Directions
Combine all salad ingredients.
In a small jar, whisk together the ingredients for the dressing.
When ready to eat, pour the dressing and toss salad lightly.
Serve immediately.
